[NorESM-users] new installation of the diagnostic tools

Dear all NorESM users,

Due to some practical reasons, we moved the NorESM diagnostic tools under the NIRD NS9560K.

If you log on the NIRD login nodes (login.nird.sigma2.no), you will find them under:
/projects/NS9560K/diagnostics/noresm

If you log on the ‘ipcc’ service node of NIRD (ipcc.nird.sigma2.no<http://ipcc.nird.sigma2.no/>), you will find them under:
/diagnostics/noresm
(please note, only users of projects which are mounted to this node can login)

The two installations are identical.

The diagnostic tool will by default:
* write the processed intermediate climatologies, time series files and log files to your scratch area: /scratch/$USER/diagnostics/noresm
* write the final webpage/figures to: /nird/datalake/NS9560K/www/diagnostics/noresm (if you are not part of NS9560K, specify another location).

In addition, there are also other tools under the ‘diagnostic/‘ folder, including:
ADF : NCAR’s atmospheric diagnostic framework
AeroVal   : Aerosol evaluation tool by MetNO
esmvaltool : community-driven climate model diagnostic tool package.
noresm : the NorESM diagnostic package (known as ‘diag_run’)
toolkit : some latest version with extended functionalities of NCL/CDO/NCO/Python, etc.
